Colorado Station Area
Things are happening in the Colorado Station area at I-25, Colorado Boulevard and Evans Ave.! The overall TOD plan for the City of Denver was updated and finaled June 2014 and can be found at this link. An excerpt from Denver's Colorado Station TOD webpage below describes Denver's broad intentions for the station and area. The Colorado Station along with Colorado Center comprise the bulk of the Colorado Station General Development Plan Primary Area. The Colorado Station GDP Secondary area extends southwards into the WUCC neighborhood, to Warren Avenue. Colorado Center Development
A proposed site development plan to construct a office/ retail/ parking building between the existing two building groups was received on March 19, 2014 and is under review by the City of Denver. This development would be located in the Colorado Station General Development Plan Primary GDP Area. General information WUCC has received shows the office building planned is about 120 ft by 200 ft by 230 ft high, with 7 floors of parking in the structure and 8 floors of office space. The developer's website, livecoloradocenter.com, has more detailed information. The developer's website also shows a planned residential building that is part of the GDP but WUCC has not received any information regarding its imminent construction.
