Current Items Referred to UHNC RNO

The primary duty of a City and County of Denver Registered Neighborhood Organization is to be notified of and be allowed to respond on certain matters that may affect their area on behalf of the residents in that area. A majority of the matters involve zoning, planning, development and licenses (liquor, retail marijuana and lodging).

Often the referral period (the time from when the RNO is notified to when they have to respond) is two weeks. Sometimes a meeting of the board isn't planned for this notice period. When the board responds they try and consider the neighborhood residents' perspectives. The RNO board's response does not preclude any individual resident from being able to give public comments, at planning board or excise & license board hearings or at city council hearings.

The notice is provided to the official RNO contact on record with the City via email. We will try and present the items currently under consideration on this page. Please feel free to contact anyone on the board if you have some input on a particular matter.
